Will two 12v LED light strips run off the same source at full potential if the wires are spliced and connected?
I have two identical LED strips that run on 12v. I have five strips but only four places to plug them in. If I was to connect all the wires from two strips, would they both work fine or would the light output be weak? Sorry if it’s an obvious answer, but I’m not very familiar with electric workings.

As long as you connect them in parallel and the system can source sufficient current to drive them both from one output then yes they will both work at full capacity.
