All blue eyed people are linked to the same ancestor. What happens if you have blue-green eyes?
Or just green eyes. I have blue eyes with a weird type of green colour in the middle. Are the people with bluey green or green eyes also linked to the same ancestor as people with solid blue eyes?

Well, this is a two-part question in reality.
(1) We are not all descended of the same ancestor, unlike what you may have read. Our OCA2 gene is changed, but that isn’t meant to mean we are from the same ancestor, it just means we mutated. Haven’t you ever seen a kid that has blue eyes even when his/her parents had brown or green? Blue eyes are just as specific, genetically, to being an albino or having golden irises.
(2) Well, assuming that you mean the descended quality and not the mutated quality, look at your parents. They both have blue-blue, right? Look at your siblings, if any, do they all have blue? Now look at your grandparents, do they have blue? Somebody in this crowd is bound to have a color other than blue in their eyes. Eye color is also relative to skin color. This is why some people have baby blues and others have greyish-blue. You may be just dark enough to warrant a change in eye color from all the melanin. Also, for the green eyes question, no they are not linked to the blue by genetic differentiation. Green eyes are far more common.
