Can i use the Exo-terra Glass Aquarium 18X18X18 for a bearded dragon?
I am thinking about getting a bearded dragon and i was wondering if i could just start it out in the 18X18X18 exo-terra glass aquarium for the rest of its life but im not sure if it will be big enough for when it becomes an adult.
Sorry hate to tell you this but and 18 x 18 x 18 habitat may be good for a baby bearded dragon but it wont last long. A typical adult bearded dragon needs at least a 75 gallon habitat when full grown and 75 gallons being the smallest I would provide. I build custom habitat for my bearded dragon and the habitat are 5 feet long by 3 feet wide by 4 feet tall and thats for one bearded dragon but some thing that big could house a mating pair with ease. My largest male with his tail is just under 24 inches long so that tells you how big they get. Hope this helps you
