Is a gravel vacuum (aquarium) just a tube?
And how much does the cheapest ones usually cost?
Lol, like fishman put it so well ‘it’s like a hose with a fat end’.

You put the ‘fat end’ in the water, and pump it up and down until the water reaches the end of the tube (which should be in a bucket). If you keep tilting the tube so that the water goes up straight with no air bubbles, you should achieve a suction effect where the water flows freely up the tube into the bucket, and you can concentrate on cleaning the gravel.
