Is it ok to connect 3 pc components to a single internal sata power line?
I want to know if it’s ok if I connect 2 hard drives and my dvd drive to one of a single sata line from my psu. It’s a 650 watt psu.
It’s ok (power side only) not serial, if U don’t have a voltage drop that would hamper normal operation of each component and of course each component must be the same voltage..<< check dvd voltage>> the dvd should have a seperate line (because 0f load).. U should have more connectors avaliable for each device. U can buy connectors to add more devices to one line.. under moderate heavy load the voltage can display a fluctuation of between 0.04% and 0.06% and thats ok. have fun.
