Changing from BBS to flake food (betta fry)?
I want to stop feeding Baby Brine Shrimp and get them used to industrialized food, such as flake and pelleted food. I already bought the powdered flakes.
What is the best way to introduce flake food into the fry’s diet?
They are now 3 weeks and 3 days old.
How old are they now? Stopping too soon, meaning that they will not probably eat it right away, can put too much stress on them and they can actually starve. Fry are so fragile that starving or going without for a few days might really impact their growth rate. I would wait until they are showing good color…at least two to three months.
