How to get a 6 inch piece of drift wood to sink?
Its about 6x1x1 piece of driftwood and I want to put it in my fishtank. Any suggestion on how to get it to sink or even just how to make it stay down.
Thanks
boil it in de-chlorinated water, let it cool and then add it to the tank. Boiling helps to expand the wood a bit so it gets water into it better. The boiling will also kill any germs and remove surface debris that could be harmful to your fish.
If it still doesn’t sink after boiling, the fishing line and a rock suggestion is not a bad one.
